▣ TYPE: Commercial
▨ CLIENT: Drake's
▤ KEY MATERIALS: Larch triboard / Linoleum
▦ METHODOLOGY: Refurbishment
▥ COLLABORATORS: Caroline Esclapez, Chris Kokarev, Louise Underhill as Studio Abroad (co-founded by Summer Islam and George Massoud) / Estetiko / Ian Batt
The flagship store for menswear designer Drake’s on Savile Row was designed to feel like an elongated wardrobe. The proposal uses simple, solid timber joinery to define a series of intimate salons throughout the store. The natural material palette of larch tri-board and forest green linoleum complements the brightly coloured collection. Drake’s opened in 2019.
